To mark ten years since the release of this sci-fi film set in the world of video games, Daft Punk have unveiled a collector's version of their soundtrack which comes embellished with nine unreleased tracks, including Castor and Reflections. Dancefloor fans will still find something to their taste thanks to Derezzed and End of Line, two tracks that play in the scene set in Castor's nightclub. Performed by the legendary London Symphony Orchestra, but also with synthesizers, the score of the helmeted French duo Daft Punk is a kind of electro opera that blends darkness and sheer scope. While The Grid matches the film's very first sequence with the cavernous voice of Jeff Bridges (who appeared in the first film), the other pieces on the record are purely instrumental. I FELT ROOM PRESSURE many times during the movie and the last 20 minutes are the icing of the cake !!!!

They were at least 7 speakers on each side of the room plus the front and rear speakers.
The room is very big ( at least 400 places and more maybe 500 ! ) but the attention to detail is just perfect. I didn't saw the 3D IMAX presentation but this ULTRA AVX presentation was fantastic !!! The only times I go to the cinemas is for watching BIG ACTION movies in IMAX or 3D IMAX. On Tron: Legacy, Daft Punk had everything going against them: unrealistically high expectations, the usual soundtrack album trappings, the fact that they might actually be robots. This is the summum of movie theater experience. The movie was projected in glorious 7.1 sound, REA元D in a bran new ( only 2 days old !!! ) ULTRA AVX room. IT's been a while that I have been very impressed by a movie Theater's soundtrack. Of course, a couple of tracks have been playing on the movies official website.
TRON LEGACY : Outstanding soundtrack !!! A digital frontier, followed by 21 minutes of the Daft Punk-scored soundtrack.
